To prolong the life of your handmade ceramics, avoid thermal shocks (moving between cold and hot very quickly). Things like dishwashers and microwaves are stressors on the ceramic material due to high temperatures. Once in a while is not too concerning, but overtime, putting ceramic in the dishwasher weakens the dishes.

Scrub with baking soda and water if cutlery marks appear (more common on matter surfaces).

Gold Luster: contains real gold, do not microwave. Avoid metal abrasives
