Rocky Mountains

CA$135.00

Mixed-media Monoprint

by Nuala Farrelly

Image size: 5 ½ x 8 ½ inches
Paper size: 8 ½ x 11 inches

Nuala Farrelly is an interdisciplinary artist based in BC, Canada. She works in sculpture, photography, drawing, painting, and beyond (and sometimes all at once). This print is part of a series of work that began as film photographs of landscapes throughout British Columbia and Alberta, further explored through drawing and digital printing, and finished with guache additions on archival paper.

The landscapes of Undine’s childhood, pictured here, continue to be leed characters in her art practice, a relationship well fostered by her courageous woodsmum, Nuala. Many of the original photos were likely taken with a whiny teenager asking the photographer to hurry up.
